Introduction of Anthropology

Description:

This is a cross-cultural study of the human species in biological and social perspective. Students will be introduced to the 4 major branches of anthropology and how applied anthropologists work. They will study a social impact assessment, including asset mapping. The students will have service-learning experiences in East Tampa, including site visits and a review of the East Tampa project work. They will then develop application from the East Tampa project to be used in other settings, such as but not limited to the Central Avenue Area.
