Civil Citation - Equal Justice Program

Description:

Hillsborough County’s Civil Citation-Equal Justice Project (“CCEJ”) is a community service-based program that provides a constructive alternative to juvenile detention through community service projects. This research study will evaluate the program and offer suggestions for quality improvement and sustainability of the program.

Additionally, this study will explore ways to expand the internal capacity of Success for Kids & Families (“S4KF”), a group that provides outreach, training and technical assistance to law enforcement and school officials. Increasing the capacity of S4KF will enhance the sustainability of the CCEJ through the evaluation of the program and its outcomes.
