Evaluating the Effectiveness of Health Promotion Literature Written in Spanish and Community-Designated Needs for Translated Materials in Tampa Bay

Description:

This project will review and evaluate health promotion literature collected from Hillsborough and Pinellas County health department sites, primarily practice offices, hospitals and clinics.

Focus groups will be held to evaluate the effectiveness of these materials for their relevancy, awareness and cultural and linguistic competence. Information that is missing or needs refinement will be identified, and “highest need” materials will be translated and shared with all applicable organizations.
