Marketing Initiative has Kickoff Meeting With Students [01/26/2006]
The seven clients of the marketing initiative met with students for the first time on Wednesday January 25, 2006 at the Tampa Campus of USF. The meeting was the kickoff of the marketing initiative for the Spring semester, where students from the School of Mass Communications provide "real-world" service and marketing solutions to the clients. There will be final presentations on the student's findings and strategic plans during the last week of classes in the Mass Communications building. Participants from USF include the Florida Kinship Center and the Resilience and Protective Factors Working Group; from the community the students will be working with the Arts Ybor Gallery Night, the Florida Association of Speech-Language Pathologists & Audiologists Foundation, the National Conference for Community and Justice (NCCJ) of Tampa Bay, Seniors in Service of Tampa Bay, Inc. and the Special Olympics of Hillsborough County.
