University-Community Partnerships to Improve Mental Health Services: Discussion with National Expert, Dr. Martha Bruce [04/07/2008]

Dr. Martha Bruce of Cornell University, a nationally renowned mental health services researcher, will discuss her experiences conducting community-based research related to late-life depression, and we will discuss future collaborative initiatives in the Tampa Bay area. This meeting is co-hosted by the Crisis Center of Tampa Bay and the Louis de la Parte Florida Mental Health Institute (FMHI) at University of South Florida. We are inviting representatives from the Central Florida Behavioral Health Network, Florida Coalition for Optimal Mental Health and Aging, Hillsborough County Department of Aging Services, Seniors in Service, and West Central Florida Area Agency on Aging. You are welcome to involve other members of your organization. Visitor parking is available near the front entrance of the Crisis Center or behind the building. When you enter, sign in with the receptionist, who will direct you to the Wilcox conference room.
