Judi is an experienced and successful builder of relationships between researchers and community leaders.  She has performed this role with a national association (the Council of State Governments), the federal government (US Small Business Administration and Land Grant Universities), two public universities (University of Kansas and University of South Florida) and many local governments across the United States.  Her academic training in small group process and theories of social change laid the foundation for her work in facilitating community change, and her experience at the national, state and local levels enable her to help design the right intervention at the right time.

Jetson has helped create hundreds of research partnerships for USF over the past 9 years, particularly emphasizing projects which improve the lives of children and families. She has worked as a consultant in downtown redevelopment, arts, juvenile justice, rural transportation, education, economic development and early childhood.  She is active locally in neighborhood redevelopment and sings with the Master Chorale of Tampa Bay.  She also teaches public speaking.
