Details:

Linda M. Callejas conducts research and evaluation in the areas of collaborative community development initiatives, educational programs, race and ethnicity among U.S. Latinos, and migration. Ms. Callejas is currently the project director for the RAICES/Promotoras Field Initiated Research Project funded by the U.S. Department of Education to develop and test a method of service provision that integrates the promotoras model of outreach with locally funded school-linked case management teams in Hillsborough County public schools. She also serves as the Associate Director for the Inter-American Consortium for Applied Research on Children and Youth (IAC), a network of universities and research centers from Latin America and the United States working on issues related to children, youth, and families from a multidisciplinary, holistic, and applied perspective. Ms. Callejas has an M.A. in Comparative Sociology and is a doctoral candidate in Applied Anthropology.
