About this event: Water resource managers in many growing municipalities in the US are facing multiple stresses induced by climate change and population growth. Changes in the timing and magnitude of runoff resulting from climate change and urbanization are likely to increase summer water demand, flashy runoff, water pollution, and the probability of flooding. In collaboration with local water providers and city and regional planners, we have been investigating potential pathways for proactive and adaptive water resource management at the city scale. Through an integration of science and policy, we integrate climate change planning into sustainable water resource management. For more information about the talk, please click the link above.
