About this event: Examples of structures and strategies to scale up interventions in public child service systems will be presented and barriers to implementation will be discussed. The importance of building a strong partnership base and of collecting fidelity and outcome data that is relevant to "real world' settings will be emphasized. Finally a study will be described that uses a rigorous experimental design to test two implementation methods of Multidimensional Treatment Foster Care in 40 California Counties. The study examines rates of adoption, program fidelity, child and family outcomes, and long term sustainability of the treatment model.
